Founded by a group of dedicated donkey enthusiasts, Crossroads Donkey Rescue has been a haven for donkeys in need since 1998. We recognized a critical need for a sanctuary that could provide refuge and rehabilitation to donkeys facing neglect, abuse, and abandonment. Our journey began with a deep love for these remarkable creatures and a desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

What We Do

At Crossroads Donkey Rescue, we provide comprehensive care for our rescued donkeys.  We offer:

• Rescue and Rehabilitation: We rescue donkeys from various situations of distress and provide them with the necessary medical attention, nutrition, and love to help them recover and regain their trust in humans.
• Lifetime Sanctuary: Donkeys that come to us find a forever home at Crossroads. Our sanctuary offers a safe and peaceful environment where they can live out their lives with dignity and compassion.
